Pinry client

An unofficial Android app for Pinry, the self-hosted Pinterest alternative. You need your own Pinry server (2.x) to use it.

Browse

• Masonry feed with infinite scroll and pull to refresh

• Feeds per tag, user and board

• Full-screen image viewer with pinch and double-tap zoom; swipe through the feed

• Search tags and boards

Pin from anywhere

• From your gallery, from a URL, or from any app with Android's share sheet

• Links to web pages use the page's preview image

• HEIC and rotated phone photos are fixed before upload

• Tags with autocomplete, private pins, straight into a board

Organise

• Edit and delete your pins

• Create, rename, hide and delete boards; save pins to them or remove them

• Download pictures to your phone, or share them to other apps

• Long-press any pin to save, download or share it

Made to look good

• Material 3 Expressive design

• Colors from your wallpaper, a swatch or any hue; nine palette styles

• Light, dark and pure black themes; three grid sizes

• Each pin's screen takes its colors from the image

Browse public servers without an account, or log in to private ones; plain http on your home network works too. No analytics, no ads, no crash reporting: the app only talks to your server and to pages you pin from, unless you turn on Gravatar avatars in Settings.
