Prochain train

Prochain train shows the next departures (train, RER, metro, tram, bus) at the Île-de-France (Paris region) stops of your choice, in real time, using data from Île-de-France Mobilités.

The app is in French only, as it covers the Paris region only.

Features

• My places: for each place you follow, the next departures grouped by line and destination, with the line badge in its official colors, the waiting time ("3 min, then 11 · 19") and the platform when it is announced.


• Add a place: search by station, stop or town name, or list the stops around you.


• Lines and directions: pick the lines to follow and, for each one, a direction. Only the trips that later stop at the chosen station are shown (for example, at Gare du Nord, only the line H trains that stop at Écouen - Ézanville).

Light on resources

• No external library, no background service, no tracker: the app weighs less than 100 KB.


• Departures never refresh on their own: once when the app opens, then when you ask. Waiting times are recomputed on screen, without a new request.


• Your location is only requested when you tap "Arrêts autour de moi" (stops around me), never in the background.

Requirement: a free PRIM API key, to create on https://prim.iledefrance-mobilites.fr. The first screen explains how to get it.

The data comes from Île-de-France Mobilités (PRIM "Prochains passages" API and open data) and remains subject to their terms of use.
