Atmo Engine

Animated wallpapers with Atmosphere, Glass, Canvas Sketch and playlists.

Atmo Engine 7.0.4 turns your lock-screen-to-home-screen transition into part of the wallpaper.

Atmo Engine is an open-source live wallpaper studio inspired by the Atmosphere effect in Nothing OS. Choose an image, preview the real animation, fine-tune it, and apply it through Android's live wallpaper screen.

ANIMATED EFFECTS
• Original and Reverse Atmosphere, with an optional static reeded-glass clear state
• Glass Effect with right-to-left or fade-in transitions
• Reverse Glass with left-to-right or fade-out transitions
• Color Fill and Reverse Color Fill
• Canvas Sketch and Reverse Canvas Sketch
• Simple Frosted and Reverse Frosted
• Halftone Print and Reverse Halftone

Each effect uses the same renderer in its preview and the live wallpaper, so you can see how your image and transition will look before applying it.

WALLPAPER MODES
• Single Image for a focused setup
• Playlist for automatic wallpaper rotation
• Theme Playlists with separate Light and Dark collections

Theme Playlists switch collections when the device appearance changes, then continue rotating within the active collection at your chosen interval. Every playlist image can keep its own crop, zoom, fit, and scrolling position.

FINE TUNING
Adjust animation duration, dimness, Glass line count, thickness and transition style, blur, grain, atmosphere contrast and saturation, halftone detail, Canvas Sketch lines, fingerprint position, image fit, and playlist timing. Glass and Halftone can use subject isolation to apply their effect to the background only. Recommendations automatically follow the selected effect.

ATMOSPHERE + STATIC GLASS
When setting or editing an image for Original or Reverse Atmosphere, enable Add glass effect to use a static reeded-glass image on the clear side of the transition. The animation itself remains the normal Atmosphere transition.

MATERIAL 3 INTERFACE
Use Material Expressive styling with the device's system color palette, or switch to fixed app colors. Appearance controls include System, Light, and Dark modes plus an optional pitch-black background in dark mode.

OFFLINE-FIRST PRIVACY
Wallpaper images, crops, sketches, palettes, and playlists are processed and stored on-device. Atmo Engine does not request Internet or network-state permission and contains no developer-operated advertising or analytics.

Canvas Sketch, Glass, and Halftone share optional on-device subject isolation. Canvas Sketch can anchor its drawing to a prominent person, character, animal, or object. The Background only option for Glass and Halftone keeps that subject clear while processing the background. Google Play builds use the higher-quality optional ML Kit subject model: Fine Tuning checks its installed state and downloads it through Google Play services only after you tap the download button. After installation, processing is on-device and works offline. F-Droid builds instead bundle the open-source U2NetP model and need no model download or Google Play services.

Sync System Colors publishes a locally extracted wallpaper palette through Android's wallpaper API whenever the active image changes. System-wide color refresh behavior is controlled by the phone manufacturer.
