CastBay

CastBay turns an Android big screen — a TV, a TV box, a car display or a tablet — into an AirPlay and DLNA receiver. Cast your iPhone, iPad or Mac screen, music and videos to it, or use the cast button in video and music apps.

Features

• Screen mirroring from iPhone, iPad and Mac, up to 60 fps; H.265 up to 4K on TVs with a hardware HEVC decoder.


• Music with the cover as a blurred backdrop and optional synced lyrics; AirPlay music is lossless and stays in time with the phone.


• Video casting: apps' AirPlay video plays straight from the source, with audio tracks and subtitles.


• DLNA: the cast button in apps such as Bilibili, iQiyi, NetEase Cloud Music and QQ Music, from iPhones and Android phones.


• Remote or touch screen: a quick menu while playing (picture fit, playback stats, audio and subtitles, pause, skip and a seek bar); media keys and a car's steering-wheel buttons pause and change tracks.


• Who can cast: anyone, devices you allow on the TV, a PIN shown on the TV (as on an Apple TV) or a password; block any device.


• Works on Android 6.0 and later, in English and Chinese.

Privacy: no account and no ads. Nothing is sent unless you choose to: lyrics lookups, problem reports (with personal details taken out) and anonymous usage statistics are all off until you turn them on.

The phone and the screen need to be on the same local network. Music from the Mac's Music app isn't supported (a FairPlay mode UxPlay can't handle).
