Lenta Reader

A news reader for the public RSS feeds of Lenta.ru, a Russian news site. This is an unofficial app: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lenta.ru.

It only reads the news — no accounts, no comments, no recommendations. The interface and the news themselves are in Russian only; there is no English translation.

Features

* Three feeds: top stories, latest, and everything
* A drawer with all 15 sections, from sport to economics
* Full article view: paragraphs, subheadings, photos, pull quotes, info boxes and author bylines
* Read articles are dimmed in the list automatically
* Bookmarks save an article's text and photos for offline reading
* Photos open full screen, with pinch-zoom, and can be sent on through the system share sheet
* Pull past the end of an article to open the next one

Privacy

The app collects nothing about you. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no ads and no trackers — it uses the network only to fetch the feed, the article text and its images.
