LifeMeter turns your birthdate into a live dashboard of numbers about your life.
It shows the total number of days and seconds you have been alive, and a rough estimate of the food you have consumed over that time, based on a world average of about 1.7 kg a day. It also runs a live count of world deaths since you were born, plus a session counter for seconds, deaths, and births since you opened the app. The death and birth figures come from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2024, year by year; years before 1950 use the 1950 figure.
LifeMeter looks up your horoscope sign, its symbol, and its ruling planets from your birthdate. You set your birthdate once, and the app remembers it for every session after that.
A curiosities card adds one more rough estimate: the hours you have spent having sex, counted from your 16th birthday. It multiplies the average number of times a month at each age, from the British Natsal-3 survey, by 25 minutes a time. It is an average, not data about you.
