Orion Master is a native Android port of 1oom, the GPLv2 reimplementation of Master of Orion (1993).
This app is the engine and a touch-friendly shell only. It does not include, download, or redistribute the original game's LBX data files. It cannot run without a legally owned Master of Orion v1.3 LBX set, which is proprietary.
On first launch, tap Choose LBX folder. The system folder picker opens. Pick the folder that contains fonts.lbx. A complete v1.3 set also needs V11.LBX (the 1.3 patch). The app copies the files into its private storage.
The classic 1993 interface is drawn letterboxed in landscape. Taps are mapped to mouse clicks. Extra on-screen controls appear for long lists, and the Android keyboard is shown when the game asks for text.
The app is offline. It has no internet permission, no ads, and no analytics.
This build is intended for F-Droid. It is not published on Google Play, because the APK cannot run as a complete game without user-supplied data.
Source: the 1oom engine remains in the upstream src/ tree. Android-specific code lives under app/.
