PaperPhonePlus is a free and open-source communication client with end-to-end encrypted private and group messaging, voice and video calls, contacts, and moments.
This F-Droid build contains no proprietary push SDK and does not require Google Play Services. Background notification delivery uses the server-provided ntfy topic when available. You can connect to a compatible self-hosted PaperPhonePlus server from the login screen.
Version 2.6.2 retains signed private and group messages, mutual identity verification, identity-change warnings and historical group-key epochs, fixes login/registration scrolling on constrained phone viewports such as Xiaomi 12 Pro, keeps recent-phone responsive and safe-area support, and enables R8 for release builds. Trust records use Android Keystore-backed storage.
